June 10th, 2008 Chow for a Cause at the new Clackamas Town Center CPK!
What are two great things that taste great together? How about the Grand Opening of California Pizza Kitchen at Clackamas Town Center and a Charity Day to benefit the Children’s Center of Clackamas County. Today’s the day to dine on CPK’s delish and innovative hearth-baked pizzas (we love that Original BBQ Chicken Pizza wayyyy too much), when 100% of all dine-in pizza sales go to The Children’s Center of Clackamas County—a medical evaluation center for children suspected to be victims of abuse or neglect. What a day! California Pizza Kitchen has a long tradition of giving back to the communities in which it operates, and we’re so glad they decided to hold this event in their brand-new location (just opened June 2). We are definitely going for the pizza (the Pear & Gorgonzola Pizza is back!), but they also have made-to-order pastas (try the Asparagus & Spinach Spaghettini), creative salads (Thai Crunch Salad), soups (Sedona Tortilla Soup), sandwiches (Grilled Chicken Caesar), appetizers (Sonora Egg Rolls) and desserts (how about Caramel Fudge Pecan Cheesecake?).
